Open the UTM builder, paste the landing page, then set source, medium and campaign. Add term or content when you need more detail.

Shorten the tagged URL
The builder shortens the result for you. You get a zou.sh link whose destination carries every parameter.
3
One link per placement
Give the newsletter, the poster and each social post their own tags and their own short link. Then compare them in your reports.
Why it helps
Why tag first, then shorten
Tags arrive intact
The redirect sends visitors to the full destination, query string included, so every utm_ parameter reaches your analytics as you wrote it.
Readable, not cluttered
A tagged URL can run well past a hundred characters. People see zou.sh/spring-news instead, in a post, an email or on a slide.
No duplicate links
Shorten the exact same tagged URL twice and you get the same zou.sh link back. Change one tag and it becomes a new link.
Simpler codes for print
Long tracking URLs make dense QR codes. Shorten first, and the code on your flyer keeps big squares that scan easily.
Two views of a campaign
Your analytics reads the tags on your site. Blinkhop counts clicks on each short link, without cookies, and shows the total on its + page.
Early access
Saved UTM presets
With Pro (early access), save your usual sources, mediums and campaigns once, then apply them each time you shorten.
Free tool
The UTM builder, then the shortener
The free UTM builder has a field for each tag and assembles the tagged URL for you. It then shortens it into a zou.sh link, so both jobs happen in one place.
Yes. A zou.sh link redirects to the full URL you shortened, query string included, so every UTM tag reaches your analytics.
Should I add UTM tags before or after shortening?
Before. Tag the long URL first, for example with the UTM builder, then shorten the tagged version so the tags are part of the destination.
Which UTM parameters do I need?
Always set utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. Add utm_term for paid search keywords and utm_content to tell apart several links in the same message.
Why did changing one tag give me a new short link?
Links are matched on the exact URL. A different tag makes a different URL, so it gets its own short link and its own click count.
Are UTM tags case sensitive?
Treat them as case sensitive: many analytics tools report Newsletter and newsletter as two different sources. Use lowercase everywhere.
Can I save UTM presets?
Saved UTM presets come with the Pro plan, in early access. Until then, keep a shared list of approved values, and see the UTM guide for naming rules worth writing down.
