Is the free plan really free?

Yes. Shortening links on the website, through the API or with the MCP server costs nothing and needs no account. The limits (20 links a minute, 300 a day) are there to stop spam, and links never expire.

What does early access mean?

Accounts and paid plans aren’t open yet. Join the list with your email and the plan you want, and we’ll write to you when they open. Nothing is charged and we don’t ask for payment details.

Will my links keep working if I never upgrade?

Yes. Links created without an account never expire and keep pointing where you sent them. Paid plans add features; they don’t unlock your existing links.

Can I pay monthly instead of yearly?

Yes. Pro will be $12 a month and Team $36 a month on monthly billing, or $9 and $29 a month when billed yearly.

What counts as a seat on the Team plan?

A seat is one person with access to your team’s workspace. Team includes 5 seats, and each extra seat is $6 a month.

Which plan do I need for the API?

None to start: the API works without a key at 20 links a minute and 300 a day. API keys raise that to 1,000 links a day on a free account, 50,000 a month on Pro and 250,000 a month on Team. See the API reference.
