For marketers

Campaign links that look clean and keep their tags.

Blinkhop shortens campaign links without touching your UTM tags. Pick a readable zou.sh ending, print the QR code and count clicks without cookies. The links never expire.

The problem

Where campaign links go wrong

  • 01

    Tagged URLs look like spam

Five UTM parameters turn a clean landing page into a long query string that people hesitate to click and nobody can copy from a slide.

  • 02

    Printed links that stop working

Flyers, packaging and posters stay in circulation for months or years. If the short link behind a QR code expires, every printed copy points nowhere.

  • 03

    Tracking that tracks too much

Click tracking built on cookies and personal data adds disclosures and reviews, when the real question is simply which channel worked.

How it fits

A campaign link in four steps

Everything below works today without an account, except the analytics dashboard, which comes with accounts (early access).

  1. Step 1

    Tag the destination

Enter source, medium and campaign in the free UTM builder and copy a correctly tagged URL, with no hand-typed question marks or ampersands.

  2. Step 2

    Choose a readable ending

Shorten the tagged URL with an ending like zou.sh/fall-sale. Visitors land on the full URL with every parameter intact.

  3. Step 3

    Add the QR code

Add /qr to the link for a print-ready SVG, or use the free QR code generator. A short link keeps the code simple, so it scans well even when small.

  4. Step 4

    Follow the clicks

Today, add + to the link to see its total clicks. Daily counts by country, referrer and device come with the analytics dashboard (early access).

Use cases

Campaigns that run on short links

  • Email newsletters

Give each link in an issue its own utm_content, then shorten them all, so you can tell the header button from the footer link.

    zou.sh/oct-letter
  • Posters and flyers

Print the QR code with the short link under it for people who’d rather type. A readable ending is easier to copy from a wall than a random code.

    zou.sh/open-house
  • Social campaigns

Use a different utm_source for each network. Each tagged URL gets its own short link, and each link keeps its own click count.

  • Webinars and events

Put a short registration link on slides, badges and the closing screen of a recording, where nobody can click a long URL.

    zou.sh/q4-webinar
  • Partner promotions

Give each partner a link tagged with their name as utm_source, then compare the visits each one sends in your own analytics.

    zou.sh/partner-spring
  • Packaging and inserts

A QR code on a box or a product insert stays in customers’ hands for years. Links don’t expire, so the code keeps working.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do UTM parameters survive shortening?

Yes. The short link redirects to the exact URL you shortened, query string included, so your analytics tool still receives every tag.

Where can I see my clicks?

Add + to the link, as in zou.sh/fall-sale+, to see its total. The breakdown by day, country, referrer domain and device type comes with the analytics dashboard, part of accounts (early access).

Can I change a link after the flyers are printed?

Not yet. Links made without an account can’t be edited, so check the destination with + before you print. Editing destinations comes with accounts (early access).

Do you set cookies or store visitor IP addresses?

No. Redirects set no cookies and visitor IP addresses are never stored. A click only adds to daily counters, and bots and link previews aren’t counted.

Can I use my own domain for campaign links?

Branded domains come with the Pro plan (1 domain) and the Team plan (5 domains), both in early access. Until then, custom endings keep zou.sh links readable.

Why did two channels get the same short link?

They shared the same URL, and shortening an identical URL returns the existing link. Give each channel its own utm_source to get a separate link and a separate count.
