As little as possible: no cookies, no trackers and no IP addresses stored with links or clicks. Here is exactly what we store when you create, click or report a link.

Blinkhop collects as little data as the service needs to work. The website and redirects set no cookies, there are no analytics trackers or ads, and we don’t store IP addresses with the links you create or the clicks they get.

What data Blinkhop stores, and when

When you… We store
Create a link The destination URL, the code, the creation time and how it was created (web, API or MCP). No IP address.
Click a link Aggregated counts only: day, country, referrer domain and device type (mobile or desktop).
Report a link The link code, your optional reason and the date.
Join the early access list Your email address, the plan you chose and the date.
Use a contact form Your email address, the topic, your message and the date.

Bots and link previews from apps like Slack, WhatsApp and Discord aren’t counted as clicks. Read how link analytics work.

What we don’t collect

  • No cookies. Not on blinkhop.com and not on redirects.
  • No trackers or ads. Fonts and images on the website are self-hosted.
  • No IP addresses with links or clicks. Creating a link stores no IP address, and visitor IP addresses are never stored when a link is clicked. Rate limiting keeps IP addresses in memory for at most 24 hours, never on disk.
  • No individual clicks. A click only adds to daily counters, so we can’t tell who clicked a link.
  • No selling of data. Blinkhop makes money from paid plans, not from your data.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare provides CDN, TLS and DDoS protection in front of all our domains, as a processor. The country of a click comes from Cloudflare’s country header.

Your early access data

We use your email address only to contact you about accounts, and we delete it on request. The privacy policy has the full details.

Other topics

  • API & MCP

What are the API rate limits?

Without a key, each IP address can create 20 links per minute and 300 per day. The MCP server allows 120 calls per minute and 5,000 per day.

  • Links

    Do short links expire?

No. zou.sh links never expire unless an owner sets an expiry, which requires an account (early access). Links can be disabled for abuse.

  • Accounts & plans

    When will accounts be available?

Accounts are in early access and there is no public date yet. Join the list on the pricing page and we'll let you know when accounts open.
